I imagine writing the book was therapeutic for the author and that it will help others dealing with similar issues.

This sounds like a challenging book that could probably use improvement... which makes me reluctant to read it. But thanks for the review.

I like that the author discovered a way to heal and is sharing her path with others.

I don't think this is a read for me but I get all of your arguments. Good job on the review.

I think that the diary was meant to be left as somewhat haphazard to show the author's state of mind before she sought help. I do think though that editing and improving the grammar in the book would have made it better for you to read. I think that in relation to the diary she could have made it a little more organized and still conveyed that sense of hopelessness.

As always a fantastic review. This really is not my type of read and I hope that the author has a good life. Poor lady!

Awesome review!

Would you say this book would be good for someone dealing with depression? I'm looking at finding a present to cheer up a friend that is struggling at the moment?

This book was emotionally draining yet very eye opening. A little hard to follow with the diary entries but still a good read overall.

As I am sceptical about the spirit guides and spirit worlds, I'll have to pass on this book. It also sounds like a long read, and as you mention, could be emotionally exhausting. But it does sound like a good book for those who are looking to read more about the karma and the spirits.

This book is not my preferred genre, so I will pass on this one. But I'm sure there are others who would greatly benefit from reading it, though. Thanks for your review!

I’m always inspired by the ability of others to share their traumas publicly. I can only imagine how cathartic that must be! Thanks for the thoughtful review of this very personal book.

After reading it, I can see that she has suffered immensely in her life because of being sexually abused as a child, the death of her husband, an accident, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, and addiction. She has tried processing her past and dealing with her pain by writing her thoughts and going for therapy
.

I don't think it is for me as this book "drains energy." I think it is too emotional for me to read, so I will pass. It is a pity about the grammatical errors, but I am glad you enjoyed it.Thank you for the detailed review!

I'd like to know how the author dealt with the issues she faced, especially PTSD and addiction. These two afflictions are tormenting quite a lot of people.

Victims of sexual abuse turn out to be unforgiving in life, thus it's good that Jeanette learnt to forgive which is one way of emotional healing. Thanks for the informative review.
