I like that the characters have complex back-stories. It's crazy how the author handled three plots in one book. They really need to be connected somehow. Great review.

It's amazing and daring to weave multiple plotlines together in one book. However, there has to be convergence for better understanding. It's a shame that it's lacking in this book.

This book is captivating. Besides the genre, I like the fact that it is action-packed. Thanks for the wonderful review.

The book sounds intriguing but I am little interested in space adventure.

I've never really been a fan of sci-fi, so I'm not naturally drawn to this book. Coupled with the fact that the characters were not properly developed, three plotlines clashed and no story resolution, that's three strikes against the book for me. Thanks for the detailed review.

Perhaps the kindle sample is too short, but I didn't get that same disconnect you felt with the characters. I'm not a huge sci-fi fan to begin with so I'm on the fence about this one, althoigh it's wonderful to me that a creature long extinct was given life in this book.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I think I can overlook a cliffhanger ending if I know a second book is underway. The story seems interesting enough to hold my attention.

I love reading science-fiction novels, but I wish the author made the storylines intersect better in this book. I'm sure things will become clear in the next books in the series, though. With another round of editing and more attention to details, Carl and Tatyana's story could be interesting. Thanks for your review!

Not my usual genre but will probably be appealing to those who enjoy sci-fi!

In "Steele Chronicles: Colony Crisis Series: Gathering Forces", Andrew Utsogn weaves a sci-fi space opera with three different plot lines. It includes a “xeno-wrangler”, a doctor who is accused of murder, and a race of lizard-people.

"Steele Chronicles: Colony Crisis Series: Gathering Forces" by Andrew Utsogn is a #postapocalyptic #SpaceOpera that revolves around an alien hunter, a fugitive doctor, and a race of lizard-people.

Thanks for the review. I'll skip it for missing the finesse in plotline weaving.

I like the myriad of characters explored in this novel, including lizard-people. The creative ability of the author to weave three plot lines is also commendable. Thanks for the wonderful review.

A book that has no resolution for the plot. This is not really my kind of book. Thanks for the review.

Three interesting-sounding plotlines that do not relate to each other or resolve in any way would do my head in! Going from what I read in the sample, the author provides too much unnecessary detail regarding minute actions the characters are performing as they speak. Kind of slows the pace down for me. I can see why you gave it 2 stars.
