A spy/espionage thriller about terrorist threat in US. This is a book to read for me. Nice review.

The intense action and thrill of the book will be perfect for the readers of themes like espionage, terrorism, and government operations. The well-developed and fleshed out characters also bring depth to the book. Thank you for the thorough and engaging review.

The reviewer pinpoints the biggest danger of the thriller genre: predictability. The higher the stakes, the more likely the puzzle will be solved by the end. I will have to read the book to see how changing the perspective or point of view lowers the danger.
I salute the second strategy identified by the reviewer: building strong, believable characters, the lack of which many times is a weak point in books centered on action and suspense.
Great review!

Terrorism, accomplished as a proof of faith, is senseless, horrible and frighteningly real. How can followers of a peaceful God perform such abominable deeds? Jack Winnick, a thermodynamics expert, shows us how the deeds can be done. Can they be stopped?

I am a thriller fanatic. The prologue hit me in the right spot. This one's definitely for me. Lara and Uri, let's do it!

I like thrillers and this one seems full of actions and events that will keep on edge till the end of the book but political thrillers with espionage and terrorists are not my cup of tea. I believe the book will find its reader but I'll pass on this one. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Thanks for your review. This sounds like an interesting book. I enjoyed meeting the characters in the sample, and I’m glad the author continues to develop them throughout the book. I may have to add this to my want to read queue.

I don’t find espionage thrillers or stuff to do with terrorism in books interesting, so I’m not going to be reading this book. However, your review pointed out some ways in which this novel differs from most spy thrillers, which is a handy thing to do for potential readers.

This isn't the typical book that I would pick up, but the sample was intriguing. Your review made the book seem even better. I love the character development and the plot pick-up. Thanks for a great review!

I can’t say I’m too interested. Novels with a terrorist plot do not tend to intrigue me but congratulations on such a good review. :tiphat:

Even just reading this review I can see that the characters are detailed and interesting. This always makes exciting reading as motives and events blend together in a convincing sequence of action that is realistic and sounds true. One is not sure whether the Israelis really do have such a plan or not, in real life, however it certainly sounds convincing. Adding some romance into the story also spices it up a bit and this all sounds like a highly entertaining read. I enjoyed the review which was full of detail but gave nothing away.
