I'm not really into the mystery/thriller genre, and 'gratuitous' is a good word for the explicit scenes with Mary Ann. It felt like they had just been thrown in without much thought so the book might appeal to a broader audience. :? Not well done at all. I'm afraid I'll be skipping this one. Great review as always.

Thanks for the informative review concerning this book. Normally I try to decide on whether I will read a book based on the blurb, but this book left me feeling...confused if nothing else. I didn't quite get a good feel for the storyline. Your review definitely helped with that. I am disappointed that the author doesn't develop Mary Ann's character to make her a more in-depth character. It sounds like the book has a lot going for, so I will give it a chance and put it on my to-be-read shelf.

I wasn't sure how this book would be with how it started. However, I am intrigued after reading the review. It sounds right up my alley. All genre mentioned are ones that interest me so I am definitely going to give it a try!

Wow, I wasn’t expecting a spy thriller of sorts with that title. You mentioned the amnesia and I inItially expected the title to be a reference to your full identity being in a sometimes inaccessible room of the brain. But I suppose a former spy with amnesia fits that title description too. Great review!

Thank you for your review (and warning of sexual content). I'm not sure if this is one I will enjoy, but I've added it to my WTR list, just in case.

As stated by many reviewers, today's BOTD is filled with twists and turns, keeping you guessing through to the end. The fast-paced, suspenseful plot and well-developed, relatable characters make this romantic thriller one you don't want to miss! Thanks!! :-)

As I read the review, I was itching to get my hands on the book already. It seems like a good book, a perfect combination of all I would want in a book..except for the sexual content. I believe the book should be as good as you have mapped it out to be.

When reading your review I thought about many CIA spy thrillers that I have watched. The one that I though of first was the Jason Bourne series due to the common connection of amnesia. I think that a better character development of Mary Anne would have made the story better and would have made female readers relate to her more. There is a way of creating a female character that exudes a confidence without making her seem one dimensional.

A story with well drawn out characters and a relatable protagonist sounds good. Fortunately, the explicit sexual content contained in the book will make kind of enjoy it a little not more

Losing memories are the most embarrassing moment than all your hardships. Tim's life is just an example of true events in the SPY agency. The writer has a sense of humor, I did laugh on the first few pages and found it entertaining.
