This sounds like a fascinating fantasy novel as I like a little romance mixed in as well. I'm curious if this is a standalone book or if you have to read the next book in order to get answers to questions in this one. Thanks for a great review!

What age is she once she is "repurposed'? It sounds like she must be significantly younger. I loved reading your review btw. Thanks for the recommendation. This one is going on my TBR shelf!
I would say that she was remade into someone in her mid to late 20s. The idea of a do-over sounds pretty appealing to me:-)

It doesn't end in a cliffhanger, but this is a larger plot that does continue into the next books. It is still a satisfying ending.

The premise of the book looks rich and engaging, and it seems that the author has set up a strong foundation for further books in the series. A strong lead character is always right up my alley. Thanks for the engaging review.

The story sounds very interesting. The review is well-written and can pique the interest of anyone who reads it to consider reading the book. Thanks for the review.

I don't normally read romance, and I don't think I'll read this one either. Great review, though!

This sounds like an awesome book, Vicki! If it's as good as you say it is, I will recommend this to my friend who loves to read these genres!

It sounds like this story has some serious world-building going on with a strong cast of characters, particularly the protagonist. It's so rare to find a compelling protagonist, as I feel like most authors suck out their personalities so that the reader can project their own self onto them (which I actually get). It's nice to find a unique heroine who is strong without being a walking cliche or void of her personhood. Nice review! Very informative!

This review left me wanting for more on the summary of the book as I was reading it and now I'm off to read the real thing. Thank you for your review.
