My thoughts exactly, the Wandering Albatross would be my perfect pet.

That's interesting I hadnt even thought of that! I wonder, since its an icy reflection of our world - if the flora and fauna are just icy renditions of what's around us. So if you are from Mexico you would have those icy cacti, and there would be pines and other trees for Will since he was from Alaska? But it really makes you wonder how BIG Echoland is?djr6090 wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 09:14I think you're right. I wonder what kind of plant would be the equivalent of the Echoland scenery. I imagined some pretty bizarre flora and fauna. Kind of like the cactuses in Baja, Mexico that inspired the Doctor Seuss drawings in his books, only icey.Kro92813 wrote: ↑20 Sep 2019, 06:58I think they all would have sounds and echoes. At the beginning of the book when Will finds out about Damien and dea they explain that every living thing has an Echo. That includes people animals and plants.
The albatross that valerie chose was a sound and I'm pretty confident Wolfea and appudini were sounds as well

Since Echoland consists of Echoes of this world, I expect all the fauna to apply to the same rules.Kro92813 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 07:47That's interesting I hadnt even thought of that! I long for such a magnificent pet and I think it would be the ideal pet for an adventurer such as myself.

I agree. I imagine it like when on a cold winter morning when ice and frost settle onto all of the bare trees. It transforms them into a magical wonderland. It's truly beautiful!Ferdinand_otieno wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 08:02Since Echoland consists of Echoes of this world, I expect all the fauna to apply to the same rules.Kro92813 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 07:47That's interesting I hadnt even thought of that! While this conversation is somewhat amusing and continual, it veres further away from the title of the discussion as possible.Kro92813 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 09:29I agree. While I think Wolfea and Poudini were amazing pets, my heart will always choose the Albatross fo my pet.

But they were assigned guardians of Will whereas an Albatross could fly me anywhere in Echoland.

Yes it was loyalty, but to whom? The prince or Will?
