Yes.. Doing justice to its genre, East Wind by Jack Winnick would certainly be a good read for those who enjoy thrillers based on terrorist threats, the joint action of government forces, high-level treason, and a budding romance amidst all the impending tragedy...

I don't know if I've already commented on this book, but it starts out like another OBC Book of the Day story about agents fighting people with very ill intentions concerning America.

East Wind sounds like a real action thriller! I'm a fan of spy novels and especially ones with lots of info on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Thanks for the review.

This one sounds a little too realistic for me. I don’t like reading about terrorism, but it was interesting to read in your review the point of view of the one character who was trapped in the recruitment process and has to carry out a deadly deed. Thanks for further insight on this one. It sounds like you have found a series that resonates with your reading interests. That’s always a good find! 😊

Although I am not too much into this sort of books, I really enjoyed this review. I like the stories where good is not perfectly good and bad is not perfectly bad, since it makes it more human like and realistic. So, I will definitely consider this book for reading.

Latest Review: The Date Farm by Jack Winnick

Post by Grafted-in13 »

When I read the sample, I thought, Oh Boy! another book like The Date Farm! Then with eyes more awake, I noticed the author's name and was happy to discover that East Wind and The Date Farm appear to be a series. I hope there are lots more.
