This sounds like a must-read for teachers or social workers to help them gain a richer understanding of traditional and non-traditional family units. Sounds like an interesting book.

This is relevant to these times with the different blended families. Not my usual genre but it seems many will find reading this enjoyable.

Different Family Structures by Mildred Stallworth sounds interesting, educative and informative. Most don't know the different family structures that exists and how they come about. This book comes in handy and I will consider reading it. Great review.

This sounds like a book that's truly needed. I'm not a parent, so I'm not sure I have much use for this book. I'm glad it's so well-written, though. Thanks.

The book sounds very unique to me. Family is something every one can relate to. I am interested in knowing more about families as I intend to be a better husband, father, brother and Uncle to the young ones.

This book describes different family structures and emphasizes the need for love and communication in a child's life. This book is valuable since the average family of a mother, father and children is not always the norm in today's world. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer. This is an excellent review.

A book with helpful and meaningful advice for families is a true gem. Even though this is not my type of read I hope that many read this book because there are so many broken and disrupted families these days.

Thanks for your review! I appreciate that the author highlighted different family structures besides the traditional nuclear family. It's also a nice touch that photographs of each family type were included. I'm curious to read about the various parenting styles the author discussed. It's nice that the religious undertones aren't too much.

A non fiction book about different families sounds enlightening and unique. However, this isn't my genre so I'll pass on this one. Congratulations to the author and thanks for sharing an honest and thorough review.

This book talks about different forms of family. I like the quote about grandparents (and cookies) that the review referenced.
