Devil in False Colors by Jack Winnick sounds interesting and it could have been so good for unfortunately the few politically charged points of view is a complete turn off for me. However, I will recommend it. Great review.
Books are beautiful.

While not remotely close to my preferred genre, this sounds like a compelling story of foreign policy and politics. Indeed, it sounds like a mirror of real-life events. A bit too close to home for me right now. Thanks.

The author has highlighted some current, though sensitive, themes in this book. I agree that some people could have difficulty reading this novel since these themes hit close to home. Your review brings out the author's excellent writing style. Great review.

Although today's BOTD is not one for me, those who are interested in action-packed, suspenseful thrillers involving religion-based terrorism will enjoy it. Thank you for your review! :-)

This seems like a well-constructed book overall, although the strong political views do put me off slightly. Thanks for the insightful review!

I really like FBI investigation case books, but unfortunately any mention of terrorists is killing any measure of pleasure I found in them. It's just such big issue nowadays, that I truly try to escape additional delving in this. Sorry, but I will have to skip this one.

The book title is inviting and the story in it just summarise the world we are living in now. A world where terrorism is religiously and politically motivated, forgetting the value of life. Nice review.

Nice review. The free sample intrigued me, but this is not for me. I cannot dare to read a book that contains crime anymore. The political plot is very interesting but imagining that crime scene makes me terrified. Congrats to you, you enjoyed reading it.

It is always good to read about a book that features complex issues, but does so to stay true to the facts without adding too much fluff. I like that the author talked about the rift between the Shia and the Sunni and the creation of the state of Israel. I love when books feature different geographical areas of the world, but manage to seamlessly include them in the story.

This book sounds like a serious thriller. I didn't think it would interest me, but after reading your review I have to say that my interest is piqued. I just wish that the author had put more into the blurb as that is usually what I use to determine whether I will give a book a chance or not.
