Since I don't drink alcohol, this book wouldn't be useful to me. I believe, though, that many will find it interesting. And I at least got to know some facts about champagne names from the review - that's quite enough for a non drinker.

The subject matter is way out of sphere of my interest and I am old enough to not seek new career. This book definitely will interest people who like those beverages, but I certainly won't be among them. Congratulation with BOTD anyway!

I always say that I’m not an expert in wine, but I am an expert in my own tastes! Likewise, I agree with the reviewer that to each his or her own when it comes to whether or not to add OJ to champagne. Sounds like an amusing little book! Thanks for the review :)

I do not drink alcohol, so this book might not be useful to me. I am glad that you liked the book though. Congrats to the author on the 4/4 rating.

What a fun read! I love learning about the processes for making wine, and I haven't heard much champagne. I haven't traveled to France yet, but it's still super interesting! Thanks for a great review!

Great review. It's really impressive that the author can encompass so much information about wine into a less than 30 page leaflet.

:tiphat: Champagne is not common here in our place, however, the review conveys that this book is really good. I also wonder about champagne, since you mentioned that the book has only a few pages, I will read it. I'm happy that milk is always available than champagne for calcium. Thanks a lot.

Sadly I'm not a lover of champagne, in fact, I would rather the orange juice if I'm honest. I am also not inclined to learn about champagne so this booklet is not for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. Thank you for your review.

Althougj I don't drink, I'm still curious about where wine comes from- to collect some trivial knowledge. Thanks for the recommendation!

Time to celebrate the book as BOTD! Cheers!

I don't drink, but I am curious about many things. Since this book is free and short and sweet, I think I will imbibe.

Thanks for the bubbly review!

Though I don't drink it, wine fascinates me and I am excited to know and be informed and entertained by this book. Congrats!

I agree with your assertion that however one wants to enjoy foods or beverages is perfectly fine. I also like the wittiness of the author especially with that quote about the Bible and wine. I myself have never had champagne, but I typically associate it with weddings. I have heard that mixing champagne and cake is disgusting, but champagne and orange juice sounds good.

I do not drink champagne or anything else for that matter. So, I would think this book would not be for me. However, it seems like an interesting book going by your review. Maybe, if I had nothing else to read, I might just want to know a little more about this famous drink.
