Making a mockery of the US President is a serious issue. I hope lots of the US citizens are not going to like this book because of this assertion. I think the author can remove this portion in the book in order to save his image. Good review though.

A fascinating book, at least judging by the sample I read, and the review gives plenty of reasons that confirm my first impression. Speaking about layers, I have found yet another one, related to the mechanism of learning; such information is invaluable for teachers or anybody involved in education and training people or animals, biochemical entities for the moment. :D

Your descriptive review of, "Andr'e's Reboot" by Steve Coleman really has me hooked. I am very interested in the science fiction genre which include robots coming to life. It sounds like it has a little fairy tale mixed in as he gets his own family. I would also enjoy the political aspect and hope that the author includes Dennis Rodman in the satire. I do not think I will be thrilled with the blatant mockery of the POTUS although, I am sadly getting used to it. I can't wait to get my hands on this book.

I may be wrong, but after reading description and review I was strongly reminded of "Bicentennial Man" movie and original book written by Isaac Asimov. I hope no one will take offense, but I am not interested in substitute, so I believe I pass this one.

It sounds like a great addition to the sci-fi genre. It's crazy to think that we are closer to living with robots like Andre' 1 every day.

An Android being self aware will definitely be an interesting read. I have no interest in politics but I love SciFi so definitely I'll be adding this to my shelf. Thanks for the overview

The narrative is more of a case study than a story. I like that the message conveyed makes the reader think about "what makes us human". I'll add the book to my want to read bookshelf. Great review.

At first, this book sounded like an interesting read until politics were added into the mix. If it weren't for that, I would have given this book a try. Thank you for the great review!

This book reminds me a lot of Bicentennial Man in its use of making a robot discover his human side. I like that unlike the film, this robot becomes President and does a whole host of jobs. I also like that the author made the novel with multiple themes and layers in it than what appears on the surface.

There are days that I just feel like the world is better off without humans, but little miracles happen on a daily basis and it makes me think that humanity still has hope. I would be interested to follow Andre's experiences and remember how to be human.

Though this book sounds like it would be right up my alley, I am turned off by the fact the character mocks the President. Our political climate is volatile enough without digs by authors. They are allowed their opinion and because I don't agree with the immaturity of it, I choose to not read the book. Congratulations on being book of the day and I am sure it might otherwise be a good book.

I read the first three chapters of this book, Andre's Reboot, by Steve Coleman and although it was fairly interesting, it does not seem to be the type of book I am interested in reading all the way through. The family in the story is very interesting, and the robot is OK. It was interesting in how the robot learned on his own. But it is just not my type.

I totally fell in love with Andre after reading the first two pages. I am happy to discover that this book is multi-layered as well. Congrats Mr. Coleman and I appreciate the wonderful review.

Today's multi-layered BOTD contains an assorted cast of well-developed characters that helps move the story along and gets readers thinking about what makes us human. Thought-provoking and entertaining, this political sci-fi read sounds like a winner! Thanks for the review! :-)

I just sampled the book what an amazing story. Intriguing a robot that becomes self-aware. Amazing concept the author did an excellent job of narrating the story from the first person. Thanks for an outstanding review.
