I don't mind a bit of political humor in my reads, and this sounds like a great science fiction story that I don't want to miss. I am excited to try it out! Great review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction novel surrounding a robot who after saving a family's children develops self-awareness. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This book sounds like it's not for me. The robot thing is wierd and I stay as far away from politics as I can.

Most books on AI concludes on the AI being the cause of human race extinction. This book, however, is the complete opposite of this. So I find it quite intriguing. This book shows that human beings are the main cause of their problems and here their guardian angle comes in form of a AI robot. Awesome concept. I want to read this book soon.

Thanks for your review! I wonder why saving the children from the hailstorm triggered such a change in André. I can see how blatantly mocking the president might put off some readers. I strongly dislike him, but it can be a little grating when authors go overboard with their criticisms. It's nice how the author provides commentary on the whole spectrum of human emotion.

This is a really good and detailed review, I love the part that says that this novel “uses André’s experiences to discuss some of the unique aspects of life that make you human”. Also I love science-fiction so the fact that the reviewer specified that would really help me to choose a book.

Very interesting book. It is just unusual for a robot to catch human feelings; that's a very unique perspective.

I think I'll pass on this book simply because the author mocked the current president of the United States. I see mocking as ridiculous.

So a tragic accident made Andre more self-aware. Interesting how he deals with things that make us human. Great review.
