With this kind of genre, I love when they include a map. And I know this wasn't included, but I like when they also add a list and description of the characters. Both help me stay on track with all the different things going on in the story. I also like that it will be a long running series.

It's nice to read an author who is good at engaging the reader with realistic imagery. This sounds like another good Tysz book with a great plot and storytelling.

I am totally in favor of "being on the edge of my seat for the entirety of the story". I will be thrilled to be taken "to different places", slowly being acquainted with "the mysterious characters". This is a practice in active reading when one's thoughts are made to involuntarily wander to how they (the new characters) "will spice up the theme and to what the author is trying to bring out". Being able to 'relate parts of the novel to some of the current things that we face in society, like the constant fight for power" is another point that will make this reader happy.
Thank you for the excellent review! :tiphat:

I love the map, as it guides the reader through the entire Voulhire realm, giving the reader the opportunity to visualize the geographical position of the cities, rivers, and mountains, whilst the story unfolds. I love to read the book. Nice review.

Thanks for the wonderful review! I am not a sci-fi fan but I enjoyed your thorough review which made the story sound intriguing. It will be a series to follow for those who enjoy this genre. To begin with, Galen Bray's story in the first of the ten books will, I'm sure, inspire the reader to follow through the entire series!

I love fantasy and this book sounds interesting. With then novels promised it really does remind a bit of Game of Thrones.

The review says it with alot of artistic manner. The reviewer has exposed the entire details of the story.

One thing I love about the book is the conversation engagements of characters. They are well described without leaving any details. This is free of ambiguity. Also, the storyline is not boring. We see some sense of humour in it. Congrats on being BOTD.

I think this is a grate start to a long ride from your review. And I like the way author have put together the story starting with a map. This way I'll feel as if I'm there. Thank you for a good recommendation.
