I think that this is an amazing concept, and something I would have really adored as a child. I had such a hard time leaving my mother for my first ever day of school - maybe if we'd had this to read I would have been happier to let her leave. I think I'll recommend this to my friends with young children.

Ever since I worked in a bookshop with emphasis on children's book, I've had a special place for them. This one seems like a pleasant read. I like that the focus on jow children care for their parents also shows how kids are not passive, and actively interact with others. Kids are, after all, protagonists of their lives, not grown-ups.

Nene decides to send her mother to Mama's Daycare, where her mother can pass the time by reading in peace, gym, or do other exciting things. The quality of illustrations in the book looks awesome.

Mama's Daycare sounds like a thoroughly enjoyable read for you and your little one, and just about the right number of pages for a bedtime story.
Not too short that they're still awake when you're done, and not quite long enough to keep you at it for long, definitely getting myself a copy. Great review.

It's quite clear that Nene and her mother have a close relationship and both care about each other. I could relate to this because I have a close relationship with my mother. In fact, I found the entire concept of the book endearing. This is because it emphasizes the importance of children also caring about their parents.

I have a close relationship with my mother, too, and I think mother-daughter relationships are a very special bond. This seems like an adorable story with a twist on the classic problem of the kid being the one who doesn't know what to do on their first days in Kindergarten. And you're right, it's important in all relationships that both parties look after each other.
