Quite a detailed constructive review of this sci-fi book. The strange creatures and people with telekinetic powers and other magical abilities and the eccentric scenery would have been fascinating to watch in a movie format on the cinematic big screen or on a Sci-fi Channel on cable tv. That would have been good food for thought for producers of sci-fi movies, who are looking for the next "Lord of the Rings" movie series to produce.

I like that it's light enough that anyone can read it and enjoy it, yet it expertly builds its world and explores its technology naturally throughout the book bits and pieces at a time. It's like learning a new language a few words at a time instead of being thrown into a conversation with someone who speaks the language! let me add it to my holiday reading list. Great review.

Official Review: Solar Winds: Providence Ends by Bryan G. Shewmaker is a captivating glance at the vast and unlimited knowledge of science fiction for me. It will appeal to the readers like me that are new to the genre. The rating given to the book is as per the expectation of the readers!

I like sci-fi books, but I'm not certain I'll be reading this. I'm not interested in the romance part.
Great review!

I read the sample pages on Amazon and my initial reaction was that Panzer would turn out to be all powerful, invincible and thus, unbelievable. I find your report of his failings reassuring. Your in depth review makes the characters sound unique and interesting enough to add to my reading list. Thank you for such a complete review.

There really is a lot going on here. However, the second thread with characters that can sense and mess with people's emotions sounds intriguing. Nice review.

The Hourglass Galaxy got me intrigued. This book should interest sci-fi fans. The romance is a bonus as it spices up the story. Glad you enjoyed the book.

Okay, your review is too long which makes me think that this book is too complicated enough for you to explain it longer than usual. With different galaxies, this sounds like a nice sci-fi story. Thanks for the detailed and insightful review!
