I have, indeed, been through a divorce and remember quite well how difficult it was to get back into dating. The book sounds very relatable to me. I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the interesting review!

Quite interesting tale of modern-day romance set in the late ‘90s is presented in the book "I wasn’t even looking!" by Lana Beaudoin. Protagonist Lana's feeling insecure immediately after sending an email,is quite relatable and amusing.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

It's a book worth checking out if you enjoy the premise. Thanks for the comments!

I also prefer to be shown instead of told, so I doubt that I would enjoy this book very much. Thank you for a great review, though!

It won't suit everyone's tastes, that's for sure. Thanks for the comment!

I had to re-check if this book was actually non-fiction after reading your first paragraph. The premise sounds really cute. But when you pointed out that the book is literally only emails, and you don't actually know what happens, that sort of turned me away. But still, if I did find this book on sale in a local bookstore somewhere, I'd really like to give it a try. And if I didn't like it, prolly post it to a hopeless-romantic friend of mine to obsess over haha.
Thanks for you great review!

That's a nice tip there. What else are friends for if not for dumping books you didn't like on them?

I have to say that the author did a great job addressing the problem that is online dating. Personally, I do not believe in online dating and I don't believe that the bond is as strong, but to each their own. I think that people who have been in relationships that have not gone well would enjoy this book greatly.

Online dating can be a divisive subject, but it definitely seems to have worked for the author. Thanks for the comment!

Aww. This sounds adorable. Our presence online has changed the dating arena so much but I'm so glad to see good things can come out of it.

It's definitely a sweet love story. Online dating doesn't work for everyone, but it seems to have worked for the author. Thanks for the comment!
