Jack Winnick is certainly "winning" my belief in his storytelling abilities; every single review I've read about his Uri Levin and Lara Edmond series was glowing. I love thrillers and fast-paced reads with a little bit of romance thrown into the mix, and this book fits the bill. Will surely be checking it out soon. Thanks for the review.

I have just finished reading East Wind and I enjoyed it very much. I am sure I will enjoy this as well but I wonder if I should read the second book first. Thanks for your review.

I just downloaded the sample and went through the first few chapters. The book deals with heavy topics for sure and from the review I understand there is much depth to it as well. I guess, it only goes to show that even fiction is based off facts and the grim realities of life. Looking forward to getting hold of this one, will definitely add it to my 'To read' list!
Thanks for the review.

I usually enjoy books that manage to tackle political issues, but this one sounds like the storyline wouldn’t interest me, which is a shame. Thanks for the great review!

Astounding book indeed. Seems like the book's story really happen in the real life. Well it does actually. Good job author. Nice story idea you put in there. Although the story is not to my liking.

You wrote a great, detailed review. I admire the author's use of real events as inspiration for events in this book. I read the sample and it starts off very quick-paced, though it is very dark. It is an intruiging story but I think it is a bit too greusome for me, with the graphic deaths of preschoolers.

I am not a fan of political or crime thrillers, but the fact that there is a romantic history between Uri and Lara interests me. Is that a major or a minor theme in the book?

I think this review is excellent. I think I would greatly enjoy this book (I do like the genre) but the subject could seriously trigger some people.

With an abundance in both written and video content relating to terrorism plots it is difficult to find a good book. Which makes reviews like yours important. Even politically-charged statements if based on facts can be taken in the stride of the reading a fictional book. They show someone's perspective even if it is not yours, isn't that not what writing a good book takes? Being able to look at different perspectives of different characters according to what they must have experienced in their lives and communities.

I like how the author has incorporated real issues in a fictional plot. Based on the review, I believe the book is also well-researched and carries deep meaning. It's good that the author has fleshed out the themes completely. Thank you for the detailed review.

I like spy stories / thrillers and this one is based on threats we can feel as very real. I'm not sure about the political statement bu I'll have to read the novel to judget. I understand it's part of a series but it works as a standalone story, so I'll try one and then I'll decide if I want to go on.
Ciao :)
