Based on the sample I read, I am eager to finish reading all 35 chapters of the book. I just wish the author had avoided leaving a hint of tragedy at the end of the book - as mentioned by the reviewer.

This sounds like a really interesting historical time period for the setting of a book, and I'm glad the writing is fast-paced as well. Great review!

Wow- it's terrible that the professor didn't survive the fire. This book seems like it has some amazing twists. Looking forward to it.

Wow! This is an interesting one. I'd love to know how the story ended - did James and Steve get away with the crime? I'd also love to know about the tragic ending mentioned in the review.

This sounds like an entertaining book that inspires thought about moral issues. It's a plus that it was well-edited and written, even though you did find some errors. Thank you for the detailed review!

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I was not expecting to enjoy this book when I read what time period was used, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The author managed to write a compelling story, and effortlessly intrigued me.

This sounds like a fascinating and gripping story! Set in the 1870s, being on the run is more realistic. I love that you describe the characters and hint at twists within the book. Thank you for such an enjoyable review!

The ethical dilemmas the main character faces is an area worth exploring. Running away from crimes committed could have life-changing consequences. I like that the novel is set during the late 1800s in Canada. Thanks for the great review!

A fast-paced historical novel "Atonement to a Greater God" by Dan Martin. which is set in 1870's and circles around two medical students, James McGinn and his friend Stephen, whose activities infringe the state laws. The story appears to be quite gripping.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

It will be interesting to see if by joining the North West Mounted police, James and Stephen will be able to escape from the offence of killing their college professor. Nice review.

After reading the plot, I'm just glad that the book is fictional. Anyway, I'm not a fan of the genre, because I'd rather read non-fiction historical books. But good job on the review!
