Official Review: Mirrors of Life by Neal Owens

I read the first chapter of Mirrors of Life and I like it. It seems to me that the reference to Mirrors is to what life could have been "on the dark side". My guess is that Yvonne and her friends were from there. But, thanks to her determination and hard work, she was able to bring Mister and herself to the brighter side.

I'm looking forward to reading this and hope we all find out what happens after the "cliffhanger".

I’m always a sucker for strong character development, and it sounds like this book really shines in that department! I’m reading that there may be a disconnect between the title and the actual plot... but my thought is that maybe the mirrors are meant for a more abstract reflection? Something that doesn’t require explanation? I haven’t read the book, so I am only speculating!

I think it is a good idea for people of all walks of life to read books written by and about marginalized communities. I think valuable insight comes from seeing things from another perspective. Great review!
