This book seems like a high-action fantasy book! It seems a bit too involved for my liking; I personally prefer softer toned books. I will say that it does look very well written and I am sure that those who love fantasy books will enjoy this one!

An urban fantasy book with wide reach and great potential. According to the summary, the author's writing style is dizzying, richly complex and intensely attractive. Recommended for fantasy lovers.

This book sounds like it is very well-written. It has action and mystery and the concept of uncovering secrets about one's past sounds exciting. From the review, it sounds like the author is quite gifted in creating different worlds. I wonder what secrets Connor can uncover? Thanks for the great review!

Often, I find the elements of dark fantasy a little too dark for me. Though this one seems spellbinding, I will have to give it some thought before I delve into it.

“Urban fantasy” isn’t generally something that strikes me as appealing, but this review and the sample lead me to believe that this gritty, fast paced, fantasy fiction is something I might like. Add in the Celtic mythology, and I’m hooked.

This book seems like a tale of adventures of a Chicago teen who learns of his Celtic ancestry and powers by trial and error. A good urban fantasy indeed. Congratulations to the author and thanks for sharing a thorough review.

I really appreciate your complete review. I mean you have written about pretty much every aspect of a book that can be written about, I have rarely enjoyed reading a review so much. And based on your review I would actually trust your judgement with this book and similar books in the genre to read. Definitely looking forward to pick up a book I can actually lose myself in! Absolutely fantastic review!

I am aware that Urban fantasy are usually difficult to write and most readers don't find it intriguing, but this seems different and lovely as the author spiced it up greatly to be enjoyed by readers. Nice review.

Roan; E.R. Barr's debute novel falls within the urban fantasy genre. This book is fast-paced, well-developed, fascinating and intriguing at the same time.
