I have read about a similar technique called pranik healing that deals with the energy chakras. I personally enjoy spiritual books that are minus any deeply religious concepts. So this one seems to be a book I would enjoy.

This book gives a balanced, practical discussion of how body, mind, spirit, and energy are interconnected. Skeptics need not be left out because the book gives easy to understand view on spirituality that does not discriminate or delve into religion.

The review of the book is written well and truly a great piece of work. Unfortunately being of a christian faith I have my own views to the very essence of spirituality, which are by far seemingly at variance with those of the author.

For that reason only and not the editorial aspects of the book I will not attempt to read it; notwithstanding the fact that it may well be a greatly written and edited book.

Official Review: Spirituality for REAL by WakunDaMa gives me the idea of new spiritual concepts and techniques. Any reader wanting to expand his or her vision of spirituality would want to read the book! I would love to learn about the chakra system, the seven energy centers that connect the body and the soul!

This book sounds like it could be very interesting, maybe even if you're not all that spiritual. Despite it being a spiritual book, it sounds like it isn't overly religious and that it also talks about ways things like yoga and mediation might actually be able to help with medical issues as well. Seems like it might be something pretty much everyone can find something useful in reading.

Definitely a review that invites the reading of the book by "believers and skeptics", even when it specifies the personal point of view (of the author) of many of the explanations for spiritual events of various kinds, states that the solicitous and humble position of the author It's one of its most powerful attractions. Thanks for this useful (at least for me!) review. :D

The thought of healing one mind and body through meditation or spirituality sounds really interesting. But these books do seem to be really complex at times when reading them and then trying to get to your one peaceful state.

Spirituality’s connection to the body is always an interesting topic for me to read about. I’ve found this book seems to be a bit different than the ones I usually read of this genre but I’m enjoying it so far. Thanks for the detail-oriented review!

A very well written review, thank you.
While I am intrigued by the book as a whole, I am certainly not going to try the crying meditation. I have type 2 bipolar disorder and PTSD, and the last thing I need is to trigger a depressive episode. I'm not sure how this could possibly be helpful!

This book teaches spirituality in another perspective: talking about the mind, body, and spirit. A great practical guide for self-discovery. Great review
