Congrats to Samyann on BOTD honors for Yesterday: A Novel of Reincarnation. As a hypnotherapist, I learned how to conduct past life regressions. The topic fascinates me and can't wait to read this book.

I just finished reading this a few days back and I have to say that this does deserve a 4 on 4 star rating. A little of mystery, a little romance and a theme based on reincarnation. Thank you for sharing a review that justifies the book completely.

Although time traveling sounds interesting, I just don't see how well it will be with historical romance.

Based on this review, I must admit that this book is so appealing to me. I have only had an interaction with one historical fiction novel and I wasn't disappointed. This one too seems like one to look up to. Great review.

It tells the story of a young woman with a broken heart and the man who tries to convince her of the deep love they have for each other. She has promised not to let anyone approach her again. Until one day, she saves a handsome policeman, Immediately a link is formed between the two. It is recommended to those who enjoy romantic readings that involve history and do not mind traveling back in time.

Samyann did a good job adding a different and richer story line unlike the usual love stories. I typically would not associate love and reincarnation together, in my mind, reincarnation had to be something creepy and scary.

Reincarnation and time travel are two concepts that I really don't believe in, but they do make compelling literary plots and great stories. I enjoy good romance and I love historical fiction, particularly when there is a lot of accurate detail included in the plot. The review certainly does a good job highlighting how lucky we are to live in our period of history because this book does such a good job describing the time of the civil war and the great fire in Chicago. I also like the concept of romance across more than a century between two souls. I enjoyed your review considerably.

This book sounds like a great mix of emotional elements and historical facts. I enjoy stories that you can learn about the time period while reading and also leave an emotional impact.

I like reincarnation themes a lot. They can be hard to follow at times. This author seems to have that figured out. A modern Somewhere in Time would be a fun read. Thanks for the great review.

This book sounds great! I love historical romances and adding in the reincarnation aspect intrigues me. The events highlighted in this romance are very interesting and I am excited to pick it up and see where it takes me. Gotta love Oprah the cat, too!
