I am looking forward to reading this book. I love stories that are set in Australia and it sounds like this author will do a great job of describing the small community and its' inhabitants. It is always interesting to me to see how historical events effect people in other parts of the world. I've never read much about the Aussie perspective on WWII, so that should be interesting as well.

Historical fiction is one of my favorite genre, especially when it talks about war. I am eager to know how the family of Annie overcome every challenges they have. Oh, kerosene, reminds me of my grandmother, and I can relate to Margo when technology like washing machine ease your burden.
