Awesome review! Bravo! You sold me on today's BOTD, which is not one I'd normally pick up to read. Told in the form of a memoir, the author shares his knowledge, personal stories, and mouth-watering recipes with readers so they, too, can improve their health and increase their longevity, if they so desire. Thanks, again! :-)

Being aware that what we are eating is not healthy, is a start to wanting to know what kinds of food would give more energy and health. I like that the author explains what kind of plant-based foods are available and gives tasty recipes for readers to try. This book should take some of the mystery of what a vegan diet actually is. Good job on the review!

Reading the sample on Amazon makes me hungry. I love food diet, but in my case vegan diet is forbidden. Hypothermia may cause too if lack of meat in my case. This book is relevant only to obese ones.

This is definitely up my alley. I was vegan for a year and now I'm vegetarian. I'm always excited to learn about other people's perspectives and journeys on this subject. Good review!

I found your review accurate and true to what I read of "We Don't Just Eat Lettuce!". As someone who has tried many different vegan meals it's always exciting to find original and interesting recipes. I liked that your review focused on the backstory, as the author spent a lot of time and effort to put that personal touch into their book. I enjoyed your review and it makes me want to read more of "We Don't Just Eat Lettuce!".

I've wanted to transfer to a vegan diet for quite a while, but I just don't think I'll be able to leave my friend BBQ behind 😅 I am however really interested in reading the book, great review!

I had a general idea of what a Vegan is but jus by reading the first paragraph of your review I've learned so much more already. As usual, liking the reviewer doesn't mean agreeing with you completely and reading every book you recommend. However, I’m sure I'll be reading more of your reviews in the future because you really your stuff.

Thank you.

From personal experience, eating a plant-based diet is much more satisfying and uplifting. Based on research, I have found that not only is a plant-based diet positive for the body but also for the environment. Great review!

An interesting self-help book "We Don't Just Eat Lettuce!" by Allyn Raifstanger, which gives a good insight on how to choose healthy diet, which is organically cultivated plants and vegetables. The book tries to show evidence that moving beyond the standard American diet can improve our life and health in surprisingly.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I enjoyed reading We Don’t Just Eat Lettuce! It is packed with facts and personal experience that successfully support the author’s belief in a plant-based diet. His friendly, confident tone doesn’t push or preach. He simply shares his experience and knowledge.
This is such an important asset! I understand how beneficial a plant-based diet can be both for our health and the environment, but sometimes people who follow these diets can become sanctimonious and preachy.
I loved how you shared your experience with the dishes; it enriches your review very much. Thank you!

Well not doubt the review was informative but the book doesn't sound like something I would prefer reading.

Although the vegan lifestyle is not for me, I can definitely see how this book would help inform, educate, and potentially even get a good recipe or two out to the carnivores.

Thank you for the review. This book must be a good book to read. My interest is in the author teaching readers how to improve their health by replacing animal-based foods with palate-pleasing, plant-based alternatives.
