I enjoy reading other people's journey with food. I eat very healthy, and love to play with recipes. So this book is a great fit for me! Thanks for the review.

I'm from the Caribbean and I always saw the American diet as being SAD! I am very interested in reading this book. :techie-studyinggray:

This book, We Don't Just Eat Lettuce!, is a guide to going Vegan. The author had health problems, and by changing his diet, he was able to lose weight and get off of many of his medications. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your interesting and well-written review.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I enjoyed the sample pages and will definitely be adding this book to my reading list. My husband is a chef and always willing to try new recipes for our diets.

It's good to have a book on diet, but I don't think this SAD diet is for everyone; at least it is not for me... :D
Great review!

The recipes sound delicious enough to draw me even though I'm a meat eater especially the vegan stir fry.

I am not a vegan but I love my veggies, and still enjoy an occasional meat dish. Mr. Raifstanger's story can resonate with so many people. I do hope I'll be able to try his recipes and incorporate the ones my family enjoys into our meal plan. Thank you for a wonderful review.

I am not sure I will be able to become a vegan. But the book sounds conceptually good. I would love to read the recipes.

This sounds interesting I have been hearing more and more about vegan diets. It will be interesting to know what it is that vegans do eat and how that can lead to a healthier life.
