This is a wonderful review. Coincidentally, I was reminded of my nostalgic old days though it is not that long. Everyone has that a "good old days" feeling and I'm sure this book will appeal to everybody.

Although I do not normally read short essays, this may be the best technique for hitting the highs and lows of this person's life. I am not sure I would enjoy the book but you have given it an excellent rating so I may need to leave my comfort zone and give it a try. Thanks for the review.

A memoir composed of the author's personal anecdotes on his Italian family sounds charming. It is nice that each chapter tells another story from Sacchetti's life. Weaving themes of family devotion, faith, and community through the collection enriched the tale. The great editing is another plus. I don't read biographies, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

It is a collection of 27 essays that begins with the author's experiences growing in an Italian-American family. The stories are entertaining, full of humor and are inspired by the significant people in his life. According to the review, the collection is moving.

This sounds like great collection, although I'm not sure if I would pick it up because I'm unfamiliar with Italian-American culture, so most of the references will just go over my head. Thanks for the review!

This is an inspirational non-fiction memoir book with a collection of 27 essays with uplifting and heartwarming stories. It has a free sample on Amazon kindle and was an inciteful OnlineBookclub review. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars, and Congrats @CharlesSacchett on the BOTD.

This nostalgic look at the life of the author, Charles Sacchetti, has a feel-good vibe and tells stories of love, family, and community. I would like to read this since I also grew up in this time. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

This book sounds like a type that some of my family would tell stories at reunions. Older generations would recount something memorable and all of the children would sit and listen. It sounds like a memory book and I tend to like this type as they are fun to read and very believable.

Looks like you really enjoyed the book. It is understandable when a book is about simpler times and the author is successful in drawing you into his journey. I would like to have known how much baseball features in the essays, as I am not a sports fan. I am not sure I will pick this book up because I wouldn't enjoy it if it has too many sports references.

I have little interest in nostalgia, but the amount of humor might compensate it in what seem interesting stories of this Italian-American family.
