A book with a collection of good stories with accompanying pictures sounds engaging. I like that the author was able to fuse his experiences into this book.

It's a well told true story. I like the humour and sincerity of the author. He captures moments of his life so vividly. The high expectations of his father and the courage of his mother to stand up for him were all necessary for him to realize his dreams. This is one story I will enjoy reading and easily relate to. The review is on point, thanks Cecilia.

You are right that we don't see family times now as we did then. It was a much simpler time, and I am sure the stories in this book will resonate with many who read it! Thanks for the excellent recommendation!
Thanks for your kind comment.

Thank you, Stephanie!

Thank you.

I find it exceptional that the author chose to write about "happy memories that he doesn't want to forget". Usually, we are filled with negative memories and things that left us with scars. We all need to remember the happier times. Great review!!
That is an excellent point. Thanks for your comment.
