Congrats to Paul E. Kotz for BOTD honors. "Something Happened Today" sounds like a book we need in these tumultuous times. I can't wait to add it to my collection.

Great review. That the author wanted to leave something for his daughters is very admirable. An inspirational book that is suitable for any kind of audience. I like the fact that the stories are taken from the author's own experiences. Thanks again for your overview
We will have our ups and downs, regardless of who we are. When we fall, we peel ourselves off the asphalt and get back up. If we need to cry, then we cry. And when we’re ready, we get back up and move forward again.

A book of this kind is the requirement of today. With so much negativity highlighted all around us and it lingering on our minds longer than all the good that happens, someone needs to remind us about all the good things in life. This book seems to be doing a good job at it. I am grateful that the author chose to do this for his daughter thereby giving many others a book which has the capacity to make us see all the good and bright things happening in the world too. The review is very well-written and conveys in very clear words what you loved so much about the book. Great job!

An inspirational book drawn from everyday experiences. It seems surprising that there are things to be inspired with even from the routinely extant events we call commonplace in our lives. This, I have yet to discover. While we may have been contented with the way our life unfolds daily, it's another thing to know if we are happy with it. This book could be an eye opener. Thanks for the review.

Despite the errors, you have given a perfect rating. This book must've really inspired you to be that generous. Thank you for the beautiful summary and insights. It's nice that you have recommended particular stories that you liked best. It'll make the readers anticipate those mentioned titles as they turn each page and chapter. This is a very informative review. Thanks!

Based on this review, I am looking forward to this book. Sometimes you need a book to uplift, encourage and soothe the soul. It's nice how something that started as a gift to his children has become a gift to those who read this. Well done Mr. Kotz.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of personal experiences covering a wide range of topics such as kindness and society today. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I think it is great that the author had his daughters in mind when he wrote this book. I imagine his career has a teacher has afforded him a lot of wisdom to pass on.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

'What brings you happiness?' This phrase caught my attention, and the book is perfect for my day today. I can sense that this book will encourage my day. I am glad, this is free.

This book sounds very thoughtful and genuine. I love the fact that he wrote it as, I believe you could call it a gift to his daughters. It sounds very inspiring and possibly even emotional at moments. It seems like a book I would enjoy. There should be more books like this.

I love that the author wanted to leave something for his daughter's and pulled from his own life experience to do it. I can always use something to cheer me up. I'll put it on my list. Thanks for the review!
