I loved how discriptive the book was. Sadly, I'm not interested in this genre.

The author portrays how to foster relationships in family. The author portrays how the position of family in one's live cannot be overemphasized. Nice review

Everyone has different types of families, each with their own uniqueness. This coming of age story sounds amazing and this review definitely adds to it. This book is something I'd most certainly have a look at.

I could see myself becoming Tom at some point, but I really should make an effort to stay in touch with my family a bit more. Family is incredibly important. Thank you for the review!

This review convinced me to read the book, by going into analytic detail of a theme. Otherwise I would probably pass it by as neither the title not cover info led me to think it was the type of family saga I enjoy. I appreciate the heads up on it being a slow-to-start novel!

Arthur Byrd did well by comparing deconcate this very noble, bubbling fantastic novel. I must first and formost appreciate appreciate the writer. In my review, I understand the main grassroots of the mind of the novel. Every house hold, must adopt the spirit of good attitude, for examplery living of the other coming after you. Not only in your family, neither to your wife, rather for all good citizens that circumdum your teritory. What the stubborn old man does, flybontrily transpired to the Tom. Thank

I am interested in characters like Tom, who have overall good personality but still carry many secrets. I liked that book focuses on importance of family. Thank you for your engaging review.

I might be too old for coming-of-age stories, but judging from the review this novel seems well well written and engaging.

Stories about family relationships - dysfunctional or not - are always relevant due to their universal relatability. This book is no different, with unexpected plot twists thrown in for good measure. Great review, thanks for sharing.

The inner struggles of man and the dynamics within a family create a complex and emotional background for this book. The atmosphere created by the meandering river sounds like an interesting addition to this story as well.

I like a good story based on family reconciliations, like this about Tom who tries to reestablish contact with his estranged family. Nice review.

It sounds like Tom, the protagonist and the grandfather, comes to term with a lot of things in his life with the help of his grandson Lee. We all forget so many things that happened in our lives until someone else starts asking for stories. Looks like an intriguing book from a psychological standpoint as you say, but unfortunately this does not sound like a book I would be interested in. Thanks for the great review!

I liked that you mentioned that it is a book to read with patience. Knowing that it starts slow is helpful in sticking with a book like that. Nice review.

This Novel does not seem like something I would enjoy. Hopefully others enjoy the ending.
