I am not sure if this is the book for me. It sounds too much like events that are or could take place in our world today. Terrorism, problems in the Middle East, and defending Isreal make this sound like an action packed book that many would enjoy. Unfortunately, it would just cause me stress .

The Devil among us is an amazingly written book. I love Jack Winnick's style of writing, which always captivates me. Bar-lev family turns out to be a bunch of assassins, worshipping in a Jewish synagogue, and carrying out the Jewish traditional rituals normally. This made me curious and I would love to read the book to understand. Thanks for a wonderful review. Congratulations BOTD.

I'm already familiar with Lara and Uri's adventures in Jack Winnick's first novel in the series, so I was curious to see what new task they would be assigned. The investigation of the explosion of a New York synagogue seems like right up their alley. The suspenseful intrigue will be a delight for fans of spy thrillers. Thanks for your review!

Middle East is interesting setting and definitely deserves a lot of research. I am glad that author did it justice. This is very good review. I am curious about reading this series.

Jack Winnick has shown in his previous book that he is well acquainted with the culture and proclivities of the Middle East. He has also made Lara and Uri characters to look out for. This book must be as interesting as the others in the series.

I like Jack's ability in making series stories this interesting. And this, despite being a lineage of another series, can be read as a standalone. Kudos to the author on this. Thanks for this comprehensive review.

Suspenseful thrillers is most definitely a great genre, and this book is really interesting. I love the fact that this is written in different characters perspectives, it makes it all the more better. I would definitely try this out, thank you for the great review.

I also appreciate the expertise of the author. Winnick’s knowledge of the Middle East and the geopolitical relationships between the United States and Middle Eastern countries is immense. His integration of and comparison to events that occurred during World War II denotes a vast knowledge of historical power struggles and prejudices throughout the world. This, in addition to his skill in story-telling, make for an engrossing read.

This is, indeed, commendable. The social, political and religious aspects involved in the Middle East conflict are incredibly complex and it takes an outstanding mind to approach them accurately.
I love when authors use alternative perspectives in the right way.
This seems like a perfectly executed thriller. Thank you!

FBI investigation, action packed thriller, what can be better?! Sounds like a really interesting and captivating type of storyline with solid plot, complicated crime and appealing characters. Thanks for recommendation and congrats with BOTD!
