It's a nice book according to the review, so much interested in the military especially the aviation unit would love to have the book but don't have money to view it's pages or even to buy it

I agree with you. The book is definitely enlightening. The sample pages reveal as much. They are very detailed and realistic. Thanks for the review.

The description you have provided has not given me any reason to read the book. I am not a fan of war stories as their themes and messages have become trite. Therefore, even the most action packed sequences do not get me invested. The documentation process of the United States Army, however, does seem interesting as it is a new perspective to glorified war aspect of the army. It does sound like the perfect book for people that love well-written action and suspense novels with humorous dialogue sprinkled in.

I like to read war stories and I've found this book a bit interesting. I always wanted to know those moments when soldiers were fighting for freedom. I want to know more about Vietnam accounts of war through memoirs.

Thanks for the review! From the excerpt, I realised that the picture we get of war from the movies or media is probably absolutely different than the real story. War stories are not for me, though. I might have to skip the book.

I am glad to see that this book had a very positive review! However, I am usually not a fan of war or aviation stories, so this may not be for me as it focuses on the military and aviation during a war.

A well-written buddy war story, just my type of jam.

I like the sound of the friendship between the members of the army but usually I don’t like reading about wars. The amount of acronyms and jargon I encountered in the free sample was enough to put me off — that, and the fact that everything is numbered, just bored me.

Interesting. Of course paperwork is an important part of any bureaucratic organization, the military included. Seriously, though, the author's name is Danny Buoy? A bit on the nose. All in all, good review, but probably not the book for me.

It would be nice to read the real account provided by a soldier who experienced the war first hand. Sign me up for a copy.

I've always been fascinated by how an army operates, and a book that unveils that seems like one I can enjoy reading. Thank you for this wonderful review!

People interested in the US Army and aviation units during the Vietnam War would seem to like this book. It is good that it is well written, has good descriptions of the characters, and is fast-paced. I do wonder what the pachyderms have to do with the story.

I am certainly not among the target audience for this book since I'm not a fan of war stories or the details surrounding the aviation activities as highlighted in it. I'll pass, but thanks for the review.
