Wow, the plot of the story is very captivating. This is the first time I am interested in reading science-fiction. The mushroom's reaction piqued my curiosity. The plot will entertain me as the team tries to discover, help, escape and live.

I like the prospect of reading on the search for life outside the solar system. The experimenting with other life though as highlighted in Cassie's case is a bit unsettling. Nice review.

Wow this sounds like a gripping adventure from the review. I would really like to know what happened to Jonas and what the obsidian natives will do with the earthlings. Thank you for an awesome review.

This sounds like a story I would love to read. I am already interested in finding out more about this world and the people and creatures living in it. I am intrigued by finding out more about the captain's choices and if the inhabitants of Obsidion will be saved.

As soon as I'd seen the author's name, I knew The Scent of Distant Worlds would be a masterpiece. I first read the review on Sammi, then purchased and devoured the book shortly after. W.D. County is back again with another riveting sci-fi story I can't wait to read up. I love that the theme of acceptance of individual differences is explored. Thanks for sharing.

I love that this book touches on compassion, respect and mutual coordination amidst people of different diversity. This is one of the lacking ingredients in our society today. Thanks for this great review.

I like that this book addresses very human issues like greed and mutual respect even though a huge chunk of the story takes place on another planet. Thanks for the review.

It seems to be an interesting read to the lovers Sci Fi. I love books which exhibits some sense of fantasy. Even though Sci Fi is not my taste, the review is well done.

This is a fascinating and enthralling book. I am glad that the perspectives allow the Obsidian races to narrate the encounters so as to allow the reader to see through their eyes too. Thanks for the review.

Science fiction has always been a great medium for discussing the relationship between colonizers and the colonized, especially the oppression and destructive forces of the colonization process. This book in particular reminds me a little of the movie Avatar in that they both show a push for colonization at the cost of the native wildlife and people’s lives due to the colonizers’ greed. Sounds right up my alley. Thank you for the helpful review.

Definitely not like any kind of story I have read. I can see how it may be interesting especially if the intelligent life wanted revenge for the family lost through testing. Unfortunately I don't think this one is for me. Congratulations on BOTD.
