I feel the same way. It may serve to whet the appetite for some readers, but to me it feels incomplete, as though the author meant to address it but forgot.Howlan wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 05:47I really feel that the author should not leave that major plot changer and ignore it. Yes, addressing this is required in the sequel.evraealtana wrote: ↑10 Feb 2020, 19:42I feel the same way. Yes, that could be a reason why Alexandria is with the Iksha.

Yes, an evil twin will be an interesting addition.spencermack wrote: ↑06 Feb 2020, 20:10 I think the introduction of the twin just opened up more story opportunities that I wish was explored.

Okay, I see the title states 'Spoilers'.
So this is a spoiler.
The twin is Vikki and it is revealed at the end. Who she thought was her father is not her real father but the guy who raped Adam's mother, who is, of course, also Vikki's mother.

I was wondering the same thing throughout! I'm pretty sure the sequel is all about that storyline; it's called Split Adam I think. In my opinion, it would've been cool to do an ending chapter from the twin's point of view, almost like an after credit scene. That way we could know the author hadn't just forgotten to finish the storyline. I'm pretty confident he's working with the Iksha. His twin isn't Vikki though. Vikki is supposed to be in her late 20s, early 30's but her father forced her to take the youth serum. She is just his older half-sister.
I really enjoyed this book and I'm excited to see what the author will do in the sequel. There are so many twists and turns she could take to surprise her readers. I hope she continues to take risks and not play it safe.
