This sounds like a story of humans bit instead of using humans the author chose gryphons and horses, and other mythical animals. I'm not really Into these types of books. Thanks for your review.

The bond of family can be intoxicating. The call to duty can come with a stretching outcome. Fantasies for me causes a balance in this world. This book brings a satisfying feeling if one deduces from the review. Great one!

Wow. The characters and the story line seem well rounded out which I always look for in a good book. I've read many books that always seem to share a similar plot line but the plot line in this book seems completely unique.

Thanks for an excellent review! Just out of curiosity, did you find it more difficult to relate to the main characters when they were so clearly not human?

It sounds pretty interesting. I really like fantasy fiction and some of the fantasy books seem to be about the same repetitive topics, yet this one is completely out there. I am excited to read it!

I love that the story had a wide range of characters and that the author incorporated an antiracist message in it. Also, I like the fact the characters and the scenery we're beautifully described. Since I'm a big fan of fantasy stories, I can't wait to read this. Thank you for this wonderful review!

More than anything else, I loved the way Sunsky's story revealed the shortcomings of human society as Gryphonia is, in fact, a mirror reflection of all the racist prejudices and social flaws in our own world. Congrats to the author for the exquisite blend of fantasy and realism!

I agree that the language was very different to what im used to reading. It seemed very formal.

Katie Canedy wrote: 13 Nov 2019, 01:18 This novel seems to stand out on its own, which is something that is not common among novels. The idea and characters are cleverly thought out as well. When I read this review, it makes me wonder if the story of Romeo and Juliet would have had a similar storyline.
Yes, even the language the writer used, reminded me a little bit of the writing styles of authors from the distant past.
