Congrats to the author for the exquisite blend of fantasy and realism!
Definitely a very unique retelling of some much more common topics.

Within a few pages of the sample read, it was obvious that this novel seemed well planned out and this review confirms it. I disagree with this reviewer that this book is appropriate for all ages, while teenagers may empathize with the rebellious spirit of the main character, I think the vocabulary may hinder many YA readers. This is no way detracts from the book, rather it is a fantasy fiction for a more advanced reader.

The message of tolerance is especially important these days. It must take a lot of talent to write a story in which such fantastic characters remain relatable and that can be appealing for a large audience.
Thanks for your enthusiastic review!

The book cuts through family, relationships and politics. However this is a monarchy system here. Nice job. Thanks for the review.

I love fantasy fiction and this sounds like an interesting one. I would love to read about Sunsky and what choice she made and how it changed Gryphonia's history. Thanks for an amazing review. Congratulations BOTD.

This sounds like a great read, and I appreciate the twists and turns that appear in the plot. However, I'm not sure if I can get over the childish feel of a book with animals as the main characters, even if they're mythological. Thanks for the review!

Fantasy fictious writing appears like childish to me and is definitely not my taste! Buh i appreciate the author's conventional use of olden terms and the blend of somewhat complex words into the writing makes it a little less childish.

This book sounds rich in plot and character development, but I feel like I'd get lost in that mystical world with strange-sounding names. Perhaps, sampling a few pages would provide better insight for me; I'll do just that. Thanks for the review.

Sounds like an intriguing tale of forbidden love between a gryphon and a horse. This doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but fans of sci-fi will surely be drawn to this story. Sunsky sure has an important decision to make; I wonder what she will do. Thanks for the great review!
