Well, it is not about dragons, but gryphons, so I believe it does deserves some credits for originality and creativity. But mostly I would call it your regular fictional writing about fantastic creatures society in poor disguised attempt to cover overused literary cliches. Won't read it, but it is just my opinion.

This is a very good, thorough review of a fantasy book. In the few pages of the sample reading, we meet Sunsky the Gryphon and learn about Gryphons in general. As I said, the review is very good, but I don't care for the Fantasy genre and probably won't be reading this book.

I'm picky when it comes to allegory but this one looks interesting.

I also found this story to be highly original while reading it- I'm not a huge fantasy reader but I will likely buy this.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy novel following a Gryphon or griffin that fell in love with a black winged horse, which goes against the laws of the Gryphon society. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This book appears to have everything needed for fans of fantasy: realism, a beautiful world, relatable characters, moving dialogue, and an important message. Best of all, it can be read as a standalone. Great review!

This sounds like a fun fantasy fiction novel. I love how the author really embraced imagination and has a wonderful description of the scenery and creatures. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

This story is very intriguing because it is different form other fantasy stories like it foremost of which being the themes of exclusion due to who you are. Typically when a fantasy novel focuses on conflict it is about defeating the villains and restoring balance to the world. I have not come across a book about magical beings in which they have to make human-type decisions and become transformed as the story goes on. I am very interested in reading more books by this author.

Your review was in-depth and interesting. The sample pages introduced Sunsky and Gryphons in general. However, Fantasy is not a genre I care for, so I probably won't read this book.

I love fantasy novels so with mythical creatures, a 4/4 review and a coming of age story, this book will be perfect for me.

I like the fact that this is a stand alone book. I have read so many cliffhangers lately, that would be a nice change of pace. A fantasy world is quite a creation. I envy authors who are able to build such a world. This book will be in my to read list. Thank you for this wonderful review of the book.

Today's BOTD is not the one for me, but I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! The complex plot, well-developed characters, and detailed descriptions are sure to keep readers of all ages turning pages. Definitely a must-read for fans of the fantasy genre. Thank you! :-)

I have some suspicion Gryphonia must be somewhere in Russia. Just from the names, Sunsky, Nightsky, which rhymed with Trotsky, Kerensky, Rovenski, Tchaikovski, Mayakovski, to name a few. Anyway, this novel is delightfully intriguing and mystifying. As the review says, it's an allegory of human society; that will be alluring for me. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds incredibly interesting. I really like fantasy stories and the plot at play here with a gryphon and a black-winged horse is a new one. It sounds like one I'd like to read.
