From a sampling, this seems like an interesting as Science Fiction/fantasy novel following a succubus and man who are attempting to rescue the man's kidnapped son. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I have not come across a dark erotica novel before but I am slightly interested in reading it. I appreciate the warnings in your review about certain scenes that would make people uncomfortable or squeamish. I am interested in how this novel ends an what else the author is currently writing. I don't think that dark erotica is my type of genre, but the themes about friendship and love certainly interest me.

Very interesting plot. Topics like slavery, apocalypse, child abuse have been touched in this storyline, which is very intriguing indeed. But honestly the genre of erotica doesn't appeal to me much, so this book doesn't get me personally interested enough to read it. The review was very nicely written though. Thanks!

After reading your review I have contradictory feelings about this book. On the other hand, I find it intriguing, on the other hand, I don't think I would like the parts involving child abuse. Remains to be seen whether I'll give this book a go or not.

As much as I want to pretend the torture and abuse of children and adults is being successfully mitigated, the reality is quite the opposite. Reading a book where there is a positive message in the midst of depravity can be life changing. Great review!
