I may not be so much intrigued by Ireland's history, but I do love a good family secret. This book does hold the promise of drama and unravelling of mysteries. Thanks for your review.

Love it when the end is left open for a possible sequel! I appreciate your comment about how the author paid special attention to ensure the child character was portraying her age (whining, etc....) ..makes it more realistic.

It's nice to know that this author paid attention to detail when traveling because I would love to learn more about Ireland through her eyes. Thank you for noting that in your review.

It is indeed a well-written novel when the author pay attention to small details. I'm so damn curious about the unravelling of family secrets now. Good to know this 3rd novel in the series can be read on its own as stand alone.

By reading the reviews, i can assume it's a work of June Gillam. Though the above review doesn't define the story summary much, but it define the characters. I can't found much character details by the review except Claire. By the review it's definitely a good story, but the doesn't give the course of the story.

Idyllic Irish intrigue, dark family secrets, and vacations gone awry... now that does sound like quite the guilty pleasure!

This seems like a well written book. The author has done a good job with a handful of characters and the plot. I really like family mysteries and I love the way author has designed little Claire's character. Thank you for a great review.

From this review, it sounds like the author spent special attention creating each and every character, giving them individuality and depth.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!
