Midwest Writing Conferences?

Does anyone know of any decent writing conferences in the midwest area (Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Colorado, Nebrasksa) which take place over a weekend only? I've heard of some, but most are several weeks long...not a possibility with the day job...

I think I'm going to try and hit the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writer's Conference (I think that's the name) in September. Anyone else been to that one in the past?

Washington University in St. Louis has a summer writer's workshop that's known to be pretty good. And of course, the Iowa workshop...
