This is an inspiring story. I'm glad Lina rose above her difficult childhood and built a good life for herself and her son.

I was so impressed by this book and the first ten pages and now your review, I just have to add it to my reading shelf! This looks great. I love a book that shows the rise from tragedy to triumph. Thanks for the insight on this. I can’t wait to read it.

I do enjoy reading memoirs and this one sounds interesting. I hate to read about someone with a tough start in life like that but it sounds like she used her past to motivate her future. Thanks for the review!

This book. I don't even know how to discribe how I feel about this book from your review. It sounds like it is going to be such an inspiring story and one that will provide strength to those who experienced something very similar.

Great review at first I was interested until I read this. It’s something that I always find intriguing. The lives of people that have a hard life only to pursue to be better. I will add this to my must reads.

This woman's story sounds very inspiring especially considering all that she has been through in her life. I cannot imagine going through what she has without any anger or resentment. It is hard to start off in life when you already have the proverbially cards stacked against you. I love that even though her childhood was marked with tremendous pain she became a loving and devoted mother to her son.

Review makes this book look quiet promising, buy sadly not for me. Not only I try to avoid reading non-fiction, I am not familiar with her business and don't seek guidelines to found my own. Therefore, I will have to skip this book, but congratulations with BOTD all the same!

Well, as much as endorses Lina's personality and attitude, however, I don't submit to the fact that a child at that age bracket of 11-14 would venture is the streets of life seeking to make ends meet, as a result of a broken home. Thanks for memoirs like this. Awesome review thanks!

I hope her father pays for what he did to her? How can a man sexually assault his own daughter? At such a tender age! That's gross. I'm glad that Lina survived and became a success. I'd love to read this book. Thanks for the free copy.
