It sounds like there are a lot of things going on in this book. I’m very intrigued by the author’s imagination.

Bianka Walter wrote: 18 May 2018, 06:59 The chapters are all told from perspectives of characters in the book. This type of narration can be so tricky. I often find that when a book is written this way, I have trouble remembering who the chapter belongs to. But that was definitely not the case here. Toward the end of the book, it wasn’t even necessary to look at the chapter heading. The characters were so intricately designed that I felt no trouble knowing which perspective each chapter was written from.
I agree with you so much about multiple perspectives being a struggle sometimes. Good to know that in this case the author has pulled it off perfectly... your excellent review has convinced me that this book needs to go in my brain. Thanks!

From the book cover, I already suspected some level of violence. The review confirmed my suspicion. However, I think the author did great in putting this one together.

I'm trying to read books that do not expound on substance abuse at the moment so, despite the glowing review, I'm not in a hurry to read this. But I shall still read this because the concept seems well-executed.

Wow, what a glowing review. I will definitely be reading this one.
I love when books take place over short periods of time. It makes the plot that much more intense.
