This is the second in a series, but the series sounds like the perfect escape from our current situation. This book not only has magic but also has suspense. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

I love sci-fi books and this one takes you to a world with different realms. Can't wait to find out more from the book.

I like the concept of third dimensionals and fourth dimensionals. Those unique terms also add color to the plot. Piper is quite an interesting character.

This book sounds like a mixture between Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter and science fiction novels. I like that the author uses scientific terms like third and fourth dimension to describe certain kinds of people. I would have liked to have read about the first book in the series, but your background provided enough of a synopsis. I am eager to learn about more of the books that this author has written.

Sounds like an interesting science fiction and fantasy story. But as summarised in the review, the story seem to be heavy for me to decipher. I'm pleased to know that the book is free from profane laguage, explicit sexual reference, and graphic violence. I'm not sure if I'll read the book. Thanks.

God review. I like how they have different dimensions for different ages. Also I want to know what happened with the brother. Unfortunately I’m a stickler to reading in order and will have to start from the beginning.

Tiny_Turtle wrote: 16 Feb 2020, 19:18 There was plenty of action and suspense, combined with magic and mystery, with an undercurrent of a timeless love that does not overwhelm the story, but may be the force that helps to save the world across all dimensions.
Sounds like it has a little slice of everything. Cool cover. I like the title, too. Might hurt my brain a bit trying to learn all the new species / beings. Very informative review, cheers Tiny_Turtle.

When power gets to someone's head, there's no telling what they will be wiling to do to keep it. Eli's pursuit of Piper sounds intriguing.

The plot of Metaphase is unique! It seems to combine most of the magical elements that other books use and combines them into one large story. I will have to check this one out. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)
