The first day of a new school is usually anxious for both child and parent. Its good Jack wason hand to help Michael. Sounds like a fun book that would help calm a child's fear and uncertainity. Great review!

Fear, uncertainty, anxiety, trepidation... sometimes they can all culminate into a complex cloud of woe, but with angels among us, we can find a way to overcome it all! Thank you for stopping by to read and comment.

Starting school can definitely be a scary time for small children. This book will let them know they are not alone with that fear as well, and God is watching over them. Thanks for your interesting and well-written review!

Greatly appreciate your positive feedback and understanding! Change is scary for all of us, and this title would make a great impact on those feelings of anxious hesitancy that so many small children feel hindered by.

It’s interesting that you mention the “equal representation of races and genders” in this book. The cover is adorable with Jack and Michael obviously bonding. Their contrast in size, race, and confidence level makes their interaction seem heartwarming and genuine—heavenly, actually! Thanks for sharing this lovely book.

Don't we all need guardian angels in one area or another? That person who will be there to always reassure you especially on scary days like the first day of school.

"Never walking through life alone." A beautiful sentiment. Michael also shows gratitude for the events of the day. It is wonderful that a child can show appreciation. I am pleased that you loved the reading and gave it a 4 star. Good review.

Excellent point about how even the cover is able to visually convey the heavenly warmth and sincerity of their bond! And I usually don’t go into children’s books intending to purposely keep an eye out for how the genders and races are distributed or assigned, but I have noticed that the books that do it well make a lasting impact on my impression. Thanks so much for your comment!

Most definitely we do! And thank you kindly for feeling the same. That reassurance in the scary times is key. Thank you!
