This is not a book that I would be interested in reading. However, those who are religious and are interested in how the bible views the equality of men and women. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

Being a Christian myself, I have never actually looked in the Bible to see if it addresses gender equality. I would be very interested in reading this book and see how I can interpret different passages of the Bible from this viewpoint. This is a very well-written review that made me interested in reading this book.

This is a new topic which I hope other authors will come up with their opinions about it. I am not a Christian but I have Christian friends and they tell me that feminism and the Bible do not go together. This would be an interesting book for them to read. Awesome review!

A thoughtful, feminist take on the Bible sounds really compelling to me. Thanks for the introduction to this book.

Bette has tackled one of the most controversial topic in Christianity. Women role in church. Questioning if one can believe men and women are equal and still believe in the Bible?. In Second Eve the author justifies equality of women by both Biblical and Worldly views. Voicing her thoughts about women discrimination in their workplace, churches and society. It will be very educative to read this book.

I don't often see the combination between feminism and the church, so I'm interested in what this book has to say.

This sounds like a very informative book. It is a very actual topic, that deals with the Bible and modern feminism. And it sounds exactly like a very good book to read, if your want to inform yourself on the topic more deeply.

Today's BOTD is not one for me, but it sounds like a read that is both infomative and enjoyable for those who are interested in the topic of biblical equality. Well-written and thought-provoking, I think this could be a good option for Christian book clubs. Thank you for your helpful review! :-)

A non-fiction Christian religious book that focuses on male and female equality, and revolves around spirituality appears refreshing and controversial at the same time. Lovers of this genre will enjoy reading it. Thanks for the well-written review.

In addition to Christians I would imagine this book might appeal to followers of other Abrahamic religions, since they all seem to share the misconception of being anti-feminist in the Western view.

I believe this to be a noteworthy novel to read. Christian feminist theology shared according to the word of God, would be beneficial for all Christians. I applaud Bette Boersma for following her God-given instincts to write this book. The author's extensive research on the equality of men and women in churches and families is a unique contribution to the novel. Thank you for the superb review.
