I’m intrigued by this story. It sounds like something I could enjoy. After reading your review I’m going to check kindle unlimited and see if I can get it on there xxx

Thanks for the thorough review of this book. I really do enjoy mystery/thriller novels, but I think that I am going to pass on reading this particular book. The storyline doesn't grab my attention so I don't feel that this book would draw me in and make me want to read it to the end.

Thank you for the well written review. It's an intriguing tale but because of the stated profanity, I would let it pass.

I read the first few chapters as a sample and my curiosity is piqued. It sounds like an intriguing book. I like the fact that the Southern mannerisms and behaviors for the characters are authentic and real. Based on the review, I believe I would enjoy reading this novel. Thank you for the great review!

This sounds like a series of books that I would like to read, but I am hesitant to do so because of the grammatical errors throughout the story. I like that the author wrote a story that was set in the South where he grew up so it would add authenticity to the story. I agree with the rating of this novel based upon the errors that you highlighted. The range of characters sound very intriguing as well as the story's location being New Orleans.

Good review. I’m always interested in learning about other cultures and cities. This seems very intriguing in that it includes the supernatural and mystery. I’ll have to add it to my list.

This book has an interesting beginning but I'm wondering if the curse words and bad grammar will outweigh my curiosity. I wish Online Book Club had a "Maybe?" shelf!

New Orleans is one fascinating locale, with its unique history, culture, and landscape. I am a fan of detective Dave Robicheaux and his escapades in the swamp. It would be an exciting adventure to journey with Georganne.

A fast-paced, supernatural book is very lovely. I wonder how Georganne took i and believed in the supernatural. I would love to see that. Nice review!

Awesome Review! I really look forward to reading this book because you have spoken well of the world-building. I also would enjoy the link between history and present times. Thanks for a great review.
