I've been wanting to read this book for a while, but because of some problems with downloading it, I couldn't. Now it got back into my attention and I finally have time to pick it up. So glad for this opportunity!

This book sounds really interesting. The multi-dimensional characters definitely are bonus points for it. There is something eery scary about books that have a storyline that should be fiction but sound real. Great review.

Finally some different kind of thriller, the unpredictability of human nature, what might come off as a gift , turns into a weapon. Amazing review, great insight into story and right amount of information regarding the whole novel. A job well done!!

This book was a very exciting read! I agree with the reviewer, the premise does not seem too far-fetched and could be a possibility in our future. The concept of having a gadget that informs people of their expiration date sounds both terrifying and intriguing. Thanks for the lovely review.

Knowing when you are going to die...and then the time you have left remaining. This seems to be a great plot. It would be interesting to see that device being used in today’s world.

This book sounds like a Divergant, or something along those lines. I can't get into books like this.

I'm intrigued by the idea of being able to give final notices and exploring the different ways that people handle impending death. But I'm not sure I'd like a book that is so focused on the question of gun ownership. I think I'd prefer if gun ownership was a lesser topic in the discussion of human psychology and destructive nature when there can be no consequences. I think I might want to read a few more reviews on this book before I decide if it's for me or not, but thanks for the thoughtful review!

I have bypassed this book a few times prior to this due to the subject matter of guns, politics and death. It would seem that it is best suited for readers who enjoy books that delve into those topics, but for me, that’s not entertaining. I appreciate the detailed review for more insight.

A fictional novel based on the invention of a device that can predict the last days of human life. With this, they can get an advance "final notice" to put things in order and say goodbye, but others use it to settle accounts and take revenge. With the above, the controversy of the use of weapons is unleashed.

A thought-provoking thriller that uses a science fiction premise to develop a story about very real issues. I see that a sequel was just published, so I'll look into this series with interest. Thank you for your great review!
