It sounds like the plot had potential, but the author's writing just didn't live up to it. On the plus side, it seems she did her research reasonably well. I agree that a child who had been brainwashed from birth would most likely have needed some kind of catalyst to make her start doubting her religion. For those who are interested in cults, it might make a good read, but I'll have to pass. Thanks for the honest review!
