Such a creative title! With that I guessed that this is a book of poetry. And it is so. I am pretty sure that this is an interesting read. Congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

This sounds to be a good book from the review. However, I do not enjoy poetry. I hope this will be the first poetry book I will read.

This book is a narrative. It is a kind of poetry. It talks about rape and substance abuse. Rape is a criminal act. Drug abuse destroy. Thanks for the review.

I would not have guessed it was a poetry book from the title. What makes it sounds interesting and worth reading is the themes that it explores and that you have it 4 out of 4. This makes me consider reading it

I probably will not understand the narrator, as I find it difficult to decipher poems. I will pass on this one. Thanks for the review though.

Free verse poetry has become quite common in modern times. I loved how the poet has used common-subjective themes to write her poetry and you have described about the writing style quite effectively. Though you mentioned about the obstacles of inconsistency in the writing style, I'm still looking forward to read this amazing collection of poetry. Thank you for such a nice and detailed review.

Sounds like this is an interesting book to read, but I'm not sure I'd like the stanza format, or the fact that it deviates from "normal" novel or poem writing. Also, the dark themes make me hesitant, so I think I'll pass on this one. Thank you for your honest review!

This is a bit different kind an approach unlike most other books though this is not something I always enjoy. Nevertheless, It is a very well written review. :tiphat:

Thank you for an excellent review! I am not a poetry lover but you make this book sound very appealing. The author's unconventional approach to this book makes it sound very intriguing to me! I am considering checking this one out! :techie-studyingbrown:

I truly do not have the patience or time to read poems. Not my usual list of to-go reads. However, your review paints an interesting method of addressing social issues. Thank you.

A collection of poetry, that relays the story of an unnamed narrator’s life, sounds interesting. I like it that it's an engaging and thought-provoking read. However, themes of rape, drug addiction, and infidelity are not what I'll really like to read about.

One would have guessed what this book was all about at first glance, but I was wrong. It sounds more interesting than my guesses, from telling a story in form of poetry and then to expressing raw emotions.
Amazing review and congrats on making BOTD.

Challenges in life definitely leave a mark in our lives. To bring our these experiences in a specific and unique way coupled with paddles of hope in the midst of all that as stepping stones is surely to encourage many. From the review, this would be worth a read to as many as everyone with challenges in life. Congratulations on BOTD
