The sample text from the book doesn't give enough information to really get a good sense of what the book is about, so I am relying on the review. But what I saw appeared to be very well written and engaging. It seems to be more of a young adult book for teens.

Short stories do need a lot of input as they have to get the reader right into the story. Moreover, the end has to just fit readers' expectation parameter or even baffle them. This one but the nail on the head. Kudos.
