This book does sound like it delves into some heavy topics. Fans of drama may enjoy this one. It doesn't sound quite like my cup of tea, so I'll likely pass on this one. Thanks for the nicely detailed review! Great job!

Very nice review. I wish it was written as a novel rather than short stories though. Not sure if I would like that style.

This sounds like a very touching coming-of-age novel. I love how this book explores the main character discovering his sexuality. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

The book sounds well thought and written. Although, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy reading about exploring one's sexuality. I'll pass it for now.

Erick Muyesu wrote: 26 Apr 2020, 08:47 Well written review. I am glad that the author chose to address crucial themes of acceptance, gay sexuality, mental health, depression, rejection, fear, suicide, loss, grief, and love in his work which are very relevant in our contemporary society. I will create time and read this book some other time. Congratulations to the author on BOTD

Miriam Molina wrote: 26 Apr 2020, 08:58 The sample is limited to the preface, which starts with the author's parents having an argument about satisfaction. Will any person ever be satisfied? I don't know if the book will give a satisfactory answer to that question. Hmmm, most intriguing!
Thank you, Miriam.

Ivona_55 wrote: 26 Apr 2020, 09:03 I really enjoy reading books that include (or are inspired by) thoughts and experiences of real people. This book touches upon some serious topics. I'm glad to see mental health is a relevant topic not only on social media, but also in literature, particularly in this day and age. Also, it's always nice and inspiring to read a well written review. :)
Thanks for your kind words, Ivona.
